How little things can make a big statement at your wedding.
Ask any professional wedding planner the recipe to an unforgettable wedding and they’ll tell you it’s all in the details—the small touches that add up to a big impact.

So after chatting with some of our favorite wedding professionals, we've compiled a list of favorite ideas that can turn your wedding from run-of-the-mill to out-of-this-world.

1.) Bring nature inside.
Northwest brides appreciate the beauty in nature. So why not bring some of that natural beauty inside to your wedding reception?

One of our favorite ideas: Sand as the table runner. Take beach sand and pour it down the center of the table. Then bury short, white pillar candles into the sand. You can add a bit of glam by adding a bit of silver glitter to the sand— it will make the light bounce all over.

2.) Use nature as décor.
“If you're getting married in a park, mark the path—tree limbs, park benches—with small pieces of paper hung by silk ribbons,” shared one of our wedding planning gurus. “The papers could have your initials on it, your logo, or just be your wedding colors. They will be something to guide your guests in the right direction, but also set the tone for your wedding.”

3.) A wedding planner’s favorite wedding sites:
The savvy bride knows that the most reasonably-priced place to get married is at any public park. We think there's just something so beautiful and elegant about chairs on grass with trees all around.

If you’re a beach girl, you simply must check out Golden Gardens. It’s a great venue with both indoor and outdoor space.
