A Real Grand Wedding Production, by A Grand Wedding.com
An out-of-the-box, media only wedding event.
Is it possible to have a beautiful wedding using $1,000 elements. Yes. But we're not just telling you. We're showing you.

Welcome to A Grand Wedding.com's first A Real Grand Wedding Production, a faux wedding using wedding elements that all cost $1,000 (or less).
What's a $1,000 wedding dress look like? Take a look. What kind of wedding venue can you rent for $1,000? Check it out. What kind of food can you serve that will cost $1,000? Take a seat.
On October 13, 2010, we invited 20 influential media types (and their guests!) to attend our faux wedding at Georgetown Studios.
With a faux ceremony featuring actors wearing $1,000 rings, tuxs and dresses, the crowd cheered when they said, "I Don't!" and then enjoy a faux reception with a plated, three course French meal, signature alcoholic beverages, beautiful table top displays and more.
And it wasn't just a faux wedding, it was a reveal of the latest wedding trends including hot color combinations, swanky (and affordable!) food options and the introduction of the NW's trendiest new cake-option, the Adult Ho Ho as created by Madeleine's European Cakes.
In addition, wedding guests enjoyed the "new wedding" entertainment, including a private performance from DASSdance and 'smilebooth'; a photo booth that takes such good pictures that almost all our guests updated their profile pics the next day; and we had our own professional coffee bar that offered 'dolce coffee shots,' a better caffine jolt than any Red Bull or old cuppa joe could deliver.
